How long do you take to complete and deliver the packages online? Delivery of your completed site on-line is normally within 2 weeks of order. If you want to accept credit cards, you'll need to apply for an online merchant account from Cardservice International. You pay nothing to apply. After you're approved, you'll pay Cardservice International $24.95 per month, and a 2.5% discount rate for Visa/Mastercard (3.5% for American Express). Other standard fees total $0.20 per transaction, and there is also a $0.15 batch fee charged for each day you process transactions during that month. (To be eligible for an online merchant account you'll need a US business address and a US bank account.) Can I sell things on my Web site without a merchant account? Sure. You can take orders over the phone, through the mail or fax, and collect checks as payment. Conducting business with a merchant account is optional, you can add it in the future or not at all. I already have a homepage. Can I connect my other site to this site? Yes. we 'll need to add links from your site to your other site , and vice versa. (The registration fees are paid to Internic directly). What is web hosting? How much does it cost? Web hosting is much like renting a cyber space to host your completed web page. There are many companies offering web hosting with prices ranges from USD$10.00 to $50.00 per month. Some of the company also charges a one time set-up fees. Typical rates are around $30 to $50 in addition to the monthly fees. What are the typical rates/charges for web page design? There are many web design company who can construct a professional web site for you. The typical rates are from RM200 to Rm800 per page.
